At the beginning of last season, the League were requested to accept a situation whereby Four Oaks & Wishaw would play as one Club, with Four Oaks taking over 1st team fixtures & Wishaw the 2nd team.  This situation had come about as a result of Four Oaks not having a venue to play at.
Very sadly it has just come to the League Executive’s attention that Four Oaks are no longer able to honour the commitment, largely through loss of players.

To ensure the situation has been resolved as quickly & as painlessly as possible, the decision has been taken for Division 2 to play through the season with one team less; the Four Oaks results to date have been removed from the records. Division 4 will see Four Oaks & Wishaw revert simply to their original name, Wishaw. Obviously results achieved to date & fixtures for the season are not affected.
Division 2 clubs should please ensure that all involved in their club who need to be aware of this are updated.

Division 4 clubs please note that the Wishaw League Rep remains Robert Knight as per the handbook, noting his change of mobile no already forwarded by Tim Aston, 07411 116578, the Wishaw club captain remains as Matt Taylor again as per the handbook.
For purposes of clarification it should be noted that in Division 2, the promotion issue at the end of the season will remain unchanged.
